چکیده

Aim. To conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis to compare clinical outcomes in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) undergoing percutaneous intervention (PCI) using conventional angiography (CAG) or fractional flow reserve (FFR)-guided PCI. In addition, FFR-guided PCI guided instantaneous wave-free ratio (iFR) were compared. Material methods. PubMed, Google Scholar databases searched for studies comparing CAD CAG-guided FFR/iFR-guided Dichotomous data analysis was presented as odds (OR) 95% confidence interval (CI). Adjusted hazard (HR) values from similar evaluation criteria pooled meta-analysis. Results. Six randomized controlled trials (RCTs) 184 publications selected this A total of 2193 (mean age, 64,2 years, mean follow-up, 28,0 months) included. Analysis RCTs showed that did not have significant difference the incidence major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) (OR: 0,78; CI: 0,61-1,00; p=0,05; I 2 =0%), all-cause death 0,86; 0,51-1,44; p=0,57; =0%) emergency revascularization 0,69, 0,46-1,04, p=0,08, =0%). Impact of impaired fractional flow reserve after coronary interventions on outcomes: a systematic review and meta-analysis

BACKGROUND FFR is routinely used to guide percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI). Visual assessment of the angiographic result after PCI has limited efficacy. Even when the angiographic result seems satisfactory FFR after a PCI might be useful for identifying patients with a suboptimal interventional result and higher risk for poor clinical outcome who might benefit from additional procedure...

The Effect of Lifestyle Intervention on Pregnancy and Birth Outcomes on Obese Infertile Women: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Background: Obesity has been associated to negative effects on natural fertility and a worse prognosis when assisted reproduction techniques are performed. Patients attending for fertility treatments are often advised to optimize their weights to improve outcomes. There are doubts about how effective are weight-loss interventions for improving fertility in women who are overweight or obese. Mat...

Platelet-To-Lymphocyte Ratio as a Predictor of No-Reflow after Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention in Patients with ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Introduction: No-reflow increases the complications and mortality rate of primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Therefore, it is important to identify patients at a higher risk of developing no-reflow. This study aimed to systematically review the prognostic value of the platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) to predict no-reflow. Materials and Methods:</s...
